23 Neighbours Roulette Rules

Roulette is one of the oldest casino games. You can play many variations of this true classic. It knows several strategies and betting options. With the right strategy you can increase your winning odds. Of course you need to have a lot of luck as well. What are the best Roulette strategies and how can you place a good bet?

High winning odds, low pay outs with a bet on colours

The basic rule of Roulette is very simple: to win you need to have the right colour and/or number. However, you can choose to play this in a safe or risky manner. Usually you lower your risks by picking a colour. During a Roulette game players have to choose between black or red, which means that they have a 50/50 chance of winning. It means that the winning odds are quite high. On the other hand, the pay-out is lower when you have a higher chance of winning. There are several strategies some Poker players swear by. They say that using statistics or small trics has increased their winning chances. Be honest: just placing a bet on a colour or number randomly is not going to increase the winning odds. However, even with strategies you don’t always win. Eventually this game is for 99 percent based on luck. It does not harm trying though!

Strategy number one: Roulette Neighbour Bets
Do you really like to win big? Then you should try something more risky than colours. This is why picking Roulette numbers is a popular option among many players. The winning odds during European Roulette are quite low though, namely 1/35. It’s even lower with American Roulette because of the double zero. Choosing numbers instead of colours is definitely worth trying though, because. After a win your bet is paid 35 times. There are several strategies to pick certain roulette numbers. Of course you could choose them randomly and hope for the best. Professional Poker players use a strategy though. One of them is called ‘Roulette Neighbour Bets’. The numbers on the Roulette wheel are the same. It means that you play with two numbers on the left side and 2 numbers on the right side of your chosen number on the Roulette wheel. Imagine that you choose ’23 neighbours’. This means that you play with the straight numbers 5, 10, 23, 8 and 30. Perhaps you prefer another number. The choice is up to you. With ’21 numbers’ you choose two numbers at the right- and left site of the number 21 on the Roulette wheel.

Strategy number 2: Pivot

Game

‘Roulette Neighbour Bets’ is not the only way to place a bet on a number. Experienced Poker players are probably familiar with the term ‘Pivot’. It’s a betting strategy that uses a lot of statistics. You can only use it during Live Roulette. So you need to sit down at a real Roulette table. Patience is the key during the strategy. Wait until the croupier tosses a number that he or she has already tossed before. This number becomes your so called ‘Pivot’. After this happens, it all relates on statistics. You need to put 36 spins next to eachother on this number. Statistically speaking, your Pivotal number has to be fall again in the next 36 times, or maybe even several times. You win a nice profit every time the croupier picks this number.

Many betting options

Choose your right strategy before you start playing Poker, whether it’s Roulette Neighbour Bets or Pivot. Or perhaps you just want to place a bet on a single number randomly and hope for the best. This is known as the ‘straight’ option. Placing a bet on two numbers at the same time, the so called ‘cheval’ is a popular option as well. Or perhaps you even like to place a bet on three Roulette numbers. This option is known as the ‘transversale’. If you put six numbers next eachother you make a ‘Transversale Simple’ bet. Sometimes it’s even possible to combine a bet on twelve numbers, which is called colonne, with cheval. This is known by the beautiful French word ‘colonne à cheval’. The following overview of all of the bets that you can place during Roulette might help you win:
